    Borne 1979, with oneolder brother by two years. We grow up in the south western part of Virginia along the Blue Ridge Mountains. My parents moved away from the city so they could focus on there art creating paintings and pottery as their primary occupation. Before finishing high school I ended up moving closer and closer back into the city. Were I met my wife Sarah in Alexandria, Virginia. After a number of years in Alexandria my wife and I temporarily moved to Hiroshima, Japan for two years, and are now living back in Virginia.

Art

    Often when I start painting I don't really have any specific idea in mind. Rather I mostly paint with the purpose of giving my self time to explore things that I think are useful to work out in my mind. Wether that be difficult or taxing questions, or just a linking idea. As I work on my art, the images and associations I have as I see the art, are not, and should not necessarily be the same things that people other than my self should see. We all see different things taken from our own experiences. I hope you will enjoy what I have to share.
